Tony was an early hire at Skype, at the time European tech’s biggest exit and the largest tech exit globally since the dot-com era. There, he led a business development group from 2005-2013, through its acquisition by eBay for $3.1bn, buyout by Silver Lake Partners and subsequent $8.5bn acquisition by Microsoft. He built a global team in US, Europe and APAC leading product and business activities that grew its mobile user base from 0-100m.

After leaving Skype he began working with early stage UK and US founders, as an angel investor and advisor to several companies including SwiftKey (acquired by Microsoft in 2016), alongside special projects with larger tech companies like Airbnb and Blackberry.

He moved to Israel from London and joined lool ventures in 2018, bringing hypergrowth scaleup experience and access to a global network or advisors and investors to the portfolio. At lool, he has helped to structure and scale the work we do to help portfolio companies win faster through our value creation platform, bringing his extensive global scale-up expertise to the team and developing Israel’s first “Seed to Series A” program here at lool.
